Los Angeles-based apparel and social marketing company The Hundreds were looking to establish a progressive identity as they ushered in a new era for the company’s editorial platform, which had amassed a following in the millions since the brand’s inception in in 2003. Built on the idea of community, Street Meet was a social experiment that tested the parameters of influence a clothing company can have on culture and technology. With the Instagram generation booming, we developed a series of photo walks that encouraged fans of the brand, and any creative in general, to come hang out, take photos and meet like-minded individuals that shared similar passions for the arts, technology and design.
Spread throughout major cities that included Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Chicago, Street Meet became one of the company’s most effective and adored marketing campaigns, bringing out hundreds of people to pick the brain of the The Hundreds’ founders, along with special guest photographers at each stop.
