A product of Berkeley, California, LuÍs Ruano's passion lies in STORYTELLING, including his time AT Hypebeast, WHERE HE RECEIVED A NOD FROM TIME MAGAZINE FOR TOP 50 WEBSITE OF 2008. in addition to editorial, luis helped strategize hbx, a multi-million dollar story-driven e-comm marketplace by hypebeast that spotlighted brands and designers with the creation of original in-house visuals and interviews. 

over the last 3 years, luis has worked in the art direction and content marketing space for companies that include new era, Moet & Chandon, & jordan brand. he IS A Published Writer and photographer FOR fashion AND art publications, including the annual all gone book series AND NUMEROUS INTERVIEWS WITH HIGH PROFILE ARTISTS, ATHLETES, AND MUSICIANS. A self-professed sports junkie, he prides himself on always taking the last shot.
